Mine supervisor came back from Camble Supply with 2 new sets of Milwaukee socket sets. 1/4 and 3/8 drive. 100 bucks a box. Sure are pretty. I asked him if he fell down and hit his head . I think he just got tired of the junk SK shit in the shop. We will see how they stand up to a bunch of dumb miners using them in a quarry.

Yes! (Now how long before somebody uses a 2 foot long cheater pipe on that ratchet? Not that I ever did that, yaknow.) Or, they get dropped over the port side of a dredge and are lost forever in 50 feet of water.

My uncle had a couple sand pits in the 50’s one was a older pit he took over running with a dredge, for some reason his tool box went swimming ( never did hear how or why) any way he hired a fellow with scuba gear to dive down and tie a rope to it. The fellow goes in rope in hand is gone for a bit comes up gets on the dredge starts taking his gear off. Uncle goes to reeling in the rope but no tool box it attached. He tells the guy the knot must have came off the guy says nope. Uncle says we’ll go back and tie it on , guy says nope ain’t going back there’s cat fish down there bigger than me if you want the gear take it and you tie it on and he left.
