Nope. Not a vehicle problem this time.
What do I do with a bunch of DEAD, 18 volt Black and Decker batteries? They are starting to be in the way.

Don't some big box stores & batteries plus take them??
We do not have much for recycling here so some do make it into the trash hopper.

There are some you tube videos that show just how much explosive and flammable those things can become with a bit of pressure, like in a garbage compacting truck. It is much easier to go and buy these things, than it is to “properly” dispose of them.
Sometimes, it might be possible to revive an almost dead battery. I, personnally have had no luck with that, but, I am not much on electronics of any sort…..

NO way to separate the individual cells to determine which are bad.

I would use them for target practice. Then when they are all obliterated, shitcan them. Or drop them off at your favorite liberals house, they will need them for their electric car.

Take dead battery to that big blue flip top container you put out every Monday for that auto lift truck to pick up and insert into said truck. It is a no-see, no-touch operation. The truck driver then takes it to a monster big hole in the ground that was once a bauxite mine and auto dumps it. Process works for several other disposal items also. The battery's material came out of a hole just like that anyway.
