I was just chastised for saying that we'd go to the Drug store after the eclipse ๐ crowd had dwindled. ... and told that he was a Farmasist not a Drugist. ๐

A pharmacist is one who is professionally trained and licensed in pharmacy , the science and technique of preparing and dispensing drugs. That then leads to the American English usage of "druggist" for a pharmacist and "drugstore" for a retail pharmacy. In other words, pharmacist and druggist are the same.
Now, a Farmasist is a totally different proffesion. Might mean a little shit shoveling, teet pulling and hay stacking or worse. At any rate I believe you are correct in your discription of the proffesion Sir.

Well, you passed the eclipse up our direction, so, I suppose you will send that rain, too?
Our forecast is suggesting another wet week.
The traffic going south this afternoon was fairly heavy, with a lot of out of state cars, Kentucky, North Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia. I would bet they were eclipse watchers!

Freeways were loaded here. Persnickety and SnIL spent all day on a College campus up-state with SnIL's big telescope. We sipped koolade in the shade on our driveway while we enjoyed the eclipse with my welding helmet. Not a vehicle got in our way.

We took turns with the helmet, took about 3 min to get tired of that and done.

I don't recall what brand of livestock feed I used at one time, but their animal health division was called "The Farmacy".
