I have been to only one and enjoyed it immensely, but such an event is just too much walking anymore.

I haven't been to one in a while. After you mentioned it, I looked it up but it's a bridge too far and like you said, facilities are apparently too far also. 😕😕

We went to the one in Springfield Ohio a couple years ago, and it was as good a show as I have been to. It usually is held on the same dates as our local show, but, my best sawmill accomplice and I went to Red Power on Thursday and then went to our show the rest of the weekend. It WAS a lot of walking, but we saw some interesting stuff and met a few old friends and met new ones.

I have been to only one and enjoyed it immensely, but such an event is just too much walking anymore. I've been to three Red Power Roundups. All three at Bloomsburg PA.
At the last one I decided that if I ever go to another one, I will spend whatever it takes to rent a golf cart. My knees just aren't near as good as they used to be.

Knees, hips, and ankles, and now my breathing seems to be somewhat compromised.

HMMM. Me has to wunder. Will the new side by side be making the trip too? I'm thinking out loud here but hey, I have bought toys that I convinced the wife that she really needed. Just sayin.🤫

She had the idea and I ran fast with it! I want wheels, but the part I hate is dragging the trailer up there. The side X side is about three feet longer than the truck bed. Don't tell her Butcher, it's all her idea.

If I had 12" mudders and Carry on my Yamaha 125 Vino Road Scooter I would use it to roam the Red Roundup. But getting there 1500 miles with no sleep condition is a recipe for disaster. One of my Brothers lives in a South MPLS. Burb. But it all seems too much, Plus I would rather do it myself and not rely on help.
Been stuck home for 4 years and don't want to live in Shitting Bird, Washington State anymore.

that close to home, it sounds tempting, might have to consider a road trip

I made the reservations,35 miles away and 175.00 a night, but locals are all over 300.00. I just can't bring myself to drag a 30 foot camper with a 1/2 ton 500 miles(this will be cheaper)
