... I guess. I use sawhorses. Especially when I was restoring tractors. They were handy to have when washing. blasting, etc. As of a short while back my inventory was down to 4 pair. Now the count has gone down to 1 pair and the legs are showing rot on that pair. I'll patch them. Persnickety has a couple and another pair just stayed at a young friend's place I guess. Yesterday I built me another pair. (Old men don't have a lot to do.) 2X4 prices nowadays just flabbergast me and quality is bad. ... but I done it! (Excuse the grammar Mz Wilson.)

Many years ago I built a pair of sawhorses from 1 1/2" galvanized pipe. They don't fold up, and they are kind of heavy, but they get the job done. I probably have enough salvaged 2x4s to build a couple more if I felt the need and if I have the motivation. The motivation part seems to be a problem lately.

If it has 4 legs, it can walk.
I had two pair, then youngest daughter decided that she needed a pair of horses, so now I have only 1 pair.

I had some 3 inch I beams laying around, so, I built some rather sturdy ones to use for welding on. You shim the legs a little bit to level them up . It’s much better than crawling around on the floor! The problem is they get stuff piled on them and you need more!

I have a standard pair, and one set with long legs and the plastic heads to hold them together, that part I take apart and put them in the rack till needed.
