That is a new concept for me. Her Majesty is in her final days of Med School and now is headed to a Residency for her next 6 years or so depending if she gets what she applied for. Naturally she applied for the most difficult option possible: Plastic surgery. I think that adds on another year of residency. She did receive notice that she was accepted somewhere, but doesn't know where. It seems Plastic surgery isn't all about breast implants. She gave me a book to read about restorations after war injuries; unbelievable restorations from back in WWI even. We are preping to go to her graduation in a few weeks. She has been in school her whole life and is still going on.
... and then there is Super Girl. She is still a few weeks from coming back from Rome. Where upon I think Grandma and her Dad are preparing to tie a knot in her tail about her future educational activities. She has now covered a good bit of Europe while supposedly attending U of AR in Rome.
I just sit here in my fog.

More than 2 inches of rain and storm last night and still going on.
I see a shop day in my future. Persnickety's fancy wheelbarrow that I built for his reenactments has taken a beating in the various camps. Looks like it might have actually been thru a war.

I sort of try to keep up with what the grandkids are doing, but yes, I fully understand that "FOG" thing.

I resemble that remark! I rarely have 2 good productive days in a row. If I do have a good day, almost always the next day will be lackluster, kinda wandering around in my fog. Yesterday was a fog day and I am betting today might be another! Wednesday was a good day but the part about changing skid loader tires sorta strained things.
We got a heavy rain in the early afternoon yesterday, a real quick half inch, then the sun came out. The bad storms came through later, mostly to our north. We missed the worst of it. A wide swath of the Midwest got hammered pretty bad. Of course the news reporters were out there making it sound like the apocalypse.

We were on the north edge of that, got about 1 1/4" here but no big wind.

Y'all going to fly or drive Automobile to graduation? I am not in charge. The last I heard, The Old Bear and Persnicety are reserving a Hertz van for the trip. They have also reserved motel rooms. South Chicago area no less. 😒 However, it is next door to a state police headquarters, ... if that is a help.

Though I'm confident that with you in her life, she will stay away from the dark side of plastic surgery. I kinda envy you in your fog, things are all too clear, around here...

It was a plastic surgeon who hooked the fingers of my left hand back together. Well she should be a full fledged surgeon doctor by now. I never saw the doc of record till I went in for a follow up.
