Time to refill both tanks. It is helpful if I know the letter designation of each tank, but I do not. Oxygen tank measures approximately 44" tall. Acetylene tank measures approximately 30" or 35" if I measure to the top.
Anybody know the letter designation of each of those tanks?
Google is not one bit helpful.

I do not off hand but they are about what was called "farm tanks"
I know the mc is tiny & the B is a bit larger, they take smaller regs, These are the small carry sets, I think the oxy is a R
I just take my tanks to the local shop & they swap them out for me.

Maybe this will help, I see the porta tank is an R, not Q
My tanks are the size of yours, SW acet & S oxy
I think the Q & QW are what we called farm tanks, I started with those(cheap at auction) Then I got the old farts tanks some years down the road.....

Thank You! I can never remember such stuff. I did find "WS" stamped into the acetylene tank, but could not find anything on the oxy tank.

I go to my local welding equipment store and just trade them in. I have come up with tanks from various sources and they have never rejected one, yet. Gas prices are high. Last time I checked, buying your tanks was $458 each, plus paying for the contents.

Shooting from the hip( I cant seen the chart)Oxygen sounds like a 125 Cubic foot tank, acetylene, probably is a #4. And yes, to buy a set of tanks now is right at a grand!

You do not want to go to a place like Tractor Supply.
Actually, there’s a lot of places to avoid. I bought tanks from a local tire dealer and they exchanged tanks. They went out of business and the grain bin dealer got the business. They got resupplied once a week, and sometimes ran a bit low. They told me that their leased customers had priority over my owned tanks and if they thought that they were gonna run out they wouldn’t sell me gas………………….DeLille opened up a store, they accepted the other company’s tanks and I don’t have to deal with the buttholes again. Plus DeLille gave me a discount, too, saved a good bit of money.
