a craig's list find. Guy had it listed at $1100. Went to look at it, about 45 mins away, offered $500, thinking he wouldn't let it go, and I wouldn't have to haul it home. as I was gettin in the truck, he relented, he got it on a skid loader, ferried it over to the truck, and it fit with about an inch on each side, and 3 front and back! damn ford ranger was squattin pretty good! Guessin from the squat, about 500 lbs, so that old adage about machinery costin about a dollar a pound comes true! Fired it up and backed it offa the truck. I'd say its about 40 years old, and judgin by the lack of youtube videos, they didn't sell too many...

That looks like it was a rather expensive machine. I am sure you will find some jobs for it. You never know how motivated a seller is until you lowball them.

Is it a grey Market Kubota? (Does it have any Japanese writing or badging anywhere?) If it does It is grey market and likely Zero parts available and Zero Dealer Support.
I see a few odd pieces of Kubota Equipment show up at the dealer and they were turned away, because KUBOTA USA Drew a hard Line with Dealers who Supported The grey Market. Parts were unattainable anyway except through Scoundrel services in the Orient.
Curious it would be if they actually Marketed any in the USA Legally But hey?? it could have been.

Not grey mkt, AFAIK, its just that this particular aerator was mainly used on putting green$ of golf cour$es. And they gots more dollars than sense, and just charge greens fees to pay for it. Haven't done much research yet, appears that you could get it with a plow, cultivator or the aerator.

Seen those before only on a tractor 3 point configuration. No offense but since I am old school when it comes to turf grass I often wonder if the I want a green lawn at any cost crowed would be better off not dumping gallons of chemicals on their yards killing the worms and night crawlers and natural microbes that aerate a lawn naturally. Me,I don't give a shit. If I could afford it I would have 3 acres of concrete here.

I wouldn’t be your favorite customer, either. I actually LIKE dandelions! I doubt if my downwind neighbor likes them, though. He hasn’t tried to murder me yet…….
In Spring, the grass grows so fast that it can hardly go a week between mowings. I would think it is evidence of insanity to fertilize the dang stuff!

Nothin grows on this gravel hill. I try to fool it into thinking it can, but without rain only the gravel grows. I can get Bahia to coverover the open coupla acres, but nothing will survive long in the tree coverage. I just grow erosion mostly. ... and it doesn't rain in August here.

I had a bumper crop of dandelions several years ago so I applied some 2,4d. Next day there were no more yellow blossoms, just the fuzz. Day after that it was a sea of yellow out there again, so I walked out to have a look. As I approached, those yellow blossoms all just flew away. Yep, a flock of goldfinches were feeding on those dandelion seeds. After that, I just let the dandelions grow.
