I was just minding my own business walking back to my Kenworth. I was reading a ticket when I tried to take the right hand spot mirror off of the fender with my head. my brains are now being held in by 9 staples. That thing has been unmovable for 130,000 miles, till today. I am going to need tools to adjust that mirror.

Those mirrors showed up on Fenders about 2 years before I Left the Heavy Truck Dealer World. As a Mechanic, I rang my bell 3-4 times before I learned to Look up before standing and walking around those Hoods.

I have unsuccessfully tried to move the 12 inch back hoe bucket 3 times this fall while cutting firewood, one would think that the relief valve would kick in at some point

I always wear a farmer cap, and it blocks my view enough that I try to brain myself on all sorts of things. Maybe I should wear them backwards? I don’t think so, I will just slow down so it doesn’t hit so hard.

I went out this morning to take pictures of the mirror for the Safety Department. I pushed the gasket and glass back into the mirror cover, and my hair is still wedged in it. The good news, was it was my head and not my eye. One thing, HR doesn't worry me at all,we have had an open position for a hazmat driver for 6 months. The truck line down the block wants local drives at $30.00 per hour.
