That should be interesting. Several years ago, We attended the show that is held every other year in Boone, Iowa. Overwhelming does not begin to describe it. Even though I grew up on a farm, and farmed for myself for awhile, I felt like a duck out of the water. Totally out of my element. I didn't even recognize some of the implements or understood what it would be used for.

Although I find it interesting to see how impractical some of the new ideas and technology can be.

We used to go to the big show in Louisville Kentucky in mid February. It also was a huge event. By the end of the day I was absolutely exhausted, and that was 30+ years ago, which means that I probably shouldn’t consider going to these shows again………

I go to the one in January, in York, PA. An hour and half closer than Harrisburg, less crowded, less touristy type of crowd. I don't buy anything much, just steal the ideas, and fire up the tombstone welder...

Spend the whole day at the Farm show. Lot's of equipment. One thing missing this year was the guy that trying to sell battery operated tractors. No sign of him. Looked at drone sprayers for the orchard Pricy ay $32,000.00 . Have to study the subject more. Looked at 35 HP tractors. Case IH, Massey Ferguson , JD, Kyoto, Kubota, and Bob Cat, several others Just getting idea on the tractor market . Had a very good mix of equipment from the biggest to smallest equipment! Bought some metric tools , the uncommon style tools where you need a strange shape to get into a certain area! Was a good show for sure. Had a chance to talked with a lot of people in attendance at the show.

One of my friends bought a couple drones for spraying or maybe even seeding cover crops. The idea was to let one work while you are refilling and recharging the other one.
The BIG problem is you gotta get clearance from homeland security to operate them. And the drone itself contacts them if you try it. And their drones set there all year waiting to get permission to operate. So, they did not get to use them last season.
