Bought a cute little wood lath fer$100 at a yard sale, got most of the tooling, but among the missing is a nut and collet, that turns the inboard end of the tailstock into a holder for 1/2" shank drill bits. The tailstock is MT#2, and as best as I can measure it it's 25 MM (24.75 measured) in diameter (measured over the max diameter of the threads), with a 1.5 metric thread pitch. Is there a specific class name for this style of collet? I can put a MT2 drill adapter in the tailstock, but i'd like the drill head/tailstock to stay as close as possible, for stability. I may try the mfr, but this particular lathe has been superseded, it's about 20 years old...

Since I didn't know anything about lathes I did a lookup on ebay and had 1100 replies to MT2. Prices seemed doable.
