Looks like a fun place to explore and do some scrounging. Yup, on a cool day when the Wasp are sleeping.

Is this a place you have seen? Our climate in the East is not favorable for retired vehicles. At the local junkyard, some of those old cars is a pile of unrecognizable rusted up junk, unless you can recognize the pieces of stainless steel trim that is scattered in the mess. Cars kinda disintegrate when you pick them up, shredding will be easy The old guy that ran the yard died a couple months ago and the real estate was sold and cleanup had begun. Trees are a foot in diameter, at least, they told me one car went up with a tree about 10 feet off the ground. There were some choice pieces in there, 40 some years ago, but, they were worried about selling things too cheap, so, they just wouldn’t sell. Fat lot of good that did them!

Good pics.
" "Our climate in the East is not favorable for retired vehicles." " You oughta see what the South Coast does to them. One year out and you better take a torch to get shanks off of cultivators.

I drive by it on the way to Hunters Campground on the Columbia River (Lake Roosevelt Rec. Area). It is located just west of Hunters, Washington on Highway 25 That runs the Eastern Shore of the Columbia River. There is Old Iron all over that area. I will see if I can find a few more. That combine from what could get from the photos of it. She is an Allis Chalmers Orange Combine built before Gleaner bought the combine line. However, it is still open to opinions of origin. It is the closest match I found to this date.
