Spell check sure doesn't like fubar, try it sometime.
i took a Cub Cadet on a trade, so I was looking at it to see how bad I got took. I need to weld up the deck and find a complete spindle, and it appears to be one they are real proud of, around $300..... crap! one of my friends calls up and he is working on a 2 cyl briggs and it has blown head gaskets because of threads being pulled out of the block. So, he buys a heli coil kit. One looked kinda lonely, so he puts another one in on top of it. Well the second one kinda rolls into the first one and blocks the hole so he tries to run a tap in it, breaks the tap off. I am supposed to get it out . On the 4 th try with the welder and nut trick we do get it removed, but the hole is still unusable. I gave up and I got my buddy involved. It took him a while but he got the one heli coil out. briggs and Stratton just got a few more bad reviews today. It was a poor design from the start and not enough head bolts and only a few threads holding it together and the aluminum block is soft as peanut butter. Just plain designed to be junk, not hardly repairable.
i hate lawn mowers.
