Picked up a gallon of RM43 total vegetation killer yesterday. 43% glyphosate with Imazapyr. S'pose to kill and prevent weeds for up to 12 months. Same price as Roundup. Still pretty pricey. Hope it works as claimed.

I hope yer luck is better than mine was with that stuff. It seemed that the weeds grew back a little slower but were back in a couple months.
My local supply put me onto Glyphosel Pro 41% at about $25.00 per quart & 3oz per gallon mix.
It seems like the RM43 was at least 6oz per gallon?

I tried an offbrand Roundup one time and had a real problem with something in it "settling out" in storage. Really messed up a sprayer. PITA. I still have about half of that 2 1/2 gallon bottle and screen it to try to use it in a small handheld sprayer, but it is headed to a fresh drilled posthole in a back spot in the woods methinks.

"BARRIER" did a good job after I learned to use enough of it although the 12 months thing is a bit of a stretch.
Couldn't find Barrier last time I needed it so I got some of the RM43. It does the job, but maybe not as good as Barrier.
I learned to put the stuff down on my gravel driveway so the gravel is WET. Then it works pretty good.

It sounds like I did not use enough of the stuff?
I just hit the obvious green stuff about once per month now.

That's 1 thing the application instructions say to do for bare ground. 7.4 ounces to however much water it takes cover 1000 square feet. Spot spay is 6 Oz. Per gallon.

I used to use Roundup and Pramitol mixed under fence rows and in the lane. It did a pretty good job....

I want my 24D, 245T and Toxaphene back. Years ago, I worked as a sales clerk/warehouseman in a fertilizer/chemical sales/car parts/irrigation system parts company. Anyway, one day a farmer came in to buy 20 gallons of 2-4D. I wrote him up and went back in the warehouse to start getting his 2-4D. As I was coming out, my boss asked how many more, I said two. He went back and grabbed 2 more and put them in the guys pickup. A couple hours later, some one else came in to buy 2-4D. I went up to get it. I came down and asked the boss, "Where did those 2 buckets of 2,4,5T go?" They had been sitting there for as long as I had worked there, which was about 10 years. I showed the boss where they had been sitting and he shot out of there. He went out to the farmer's place. Now, he had put his buckets in the far back of the pickup box, which means the farmer grabbed them first. The company ended up paying for as much of the corn crop as the farmer could spray in 2 1/2 hours. If I remember right, 2,4,5T was one of the components of Agent Orange.
Yep, I was right!
Agent Orange was used by the U.S. military as part of its defoliant, herbicidal warfare program, Operation Ranch Hand, during the Vietnam War from 1961 to 1971. It is a mixture of equal parts of two herbicides, 2,4,5-T and 2,4-D. In addition to its damaging environmental effects, traces of dioxin (mainly TCDD, the most toxic of its type) found in the mixture have caused major health problems for many individuals who were exposed, and their children.

Yes and no. 2,4,5-T was the civilian version of agent orange(Silvex). It was only the military version that was contaminated with Dioxin. But it was enough to smear the whole class of chemicals, and cause all to be withdrawn from the market...

In some cases of land clearing I have "bathed" in 245T. My tongue would get an irony taste but I never had any serious problems. ...well from the 245T. 👴👴

If we are going to go by military specs,I think Napalm would do a much better job at getting rid of unwanted plant life. Now if we could just figure out how to deliver it to D.C.
