The weather guessers said Missouri is still in a drought, but we are in better shape than we were in. I started dumping the rain gauge starting last Friday evening, I am up to 8 1/4 inches sofar. Rain again tomorrow.

A lot of that stayed North of us, but we have had a decent amount. I dread the always dry, hot Summers we have.

It is starting to look like a drought pattern here. Somehow, you are getting rain that would have come here. I remember one summer many years ago, the Mississippi River was flooding and we were very dry. The storms last week did not affect us, northern Ohio, maybe, but we got 6/10 of rain out of all of it and no wind damage. Some of the ground was getting too hard for no till, already.

So far, no damage here even though there have been some VERY STRONG winds. Maybe even a twister because the neighbor just 1/4 mile down the road lost a building or two.
We have been getting some rain. Always accompanied by strong wind, but this morning there are puddles on the road and out in the fields. Haven't seen any puddles for quite some time.

Rain again tomorrow. I was down through Chillicothe MO to Marshall MO May 27 on my way to OK, and there was a lot of water standing. Looks like there is going to be alot of replanting of corn in that area.k
