The apple orchard is extremely busy this spring. Been spraying with the 4 spray crews in the orchard, trimming apple trees, getting the brush out, Planting strawberries, planting new trees, plus fertile for the trees. Gas & diesel both going up again this spring . Added 2 New Holland 90HP 4x4 tractors with Cabs to the fleet this year , both used. Getting bee hives for the apple orchard in later this week, Coming into bloom . So busy for sure I get to slow down as awaiting a time for a hip replacement Sometime in the future.

Well feathers; that's a pain in the butt. Strawberries are sure prevalent in the stores around here lately and some crop stories from the fields are popping up. Thumbs up on the NH's; my little one has been A1; course it doesn't have many hours yet.

One thing I dont miss is trimming fruit trees in Feb. and March. I was one of a few people that did that proffesionally for others around here. Doing it for home owners and small time growers without access for powered equipment meant all climbing and raking and hand hualing brush. Lots of work. I dont envy you the task. Then there was always the costomer who thought I was killing thier trees by trimming them to much. Around here we have always trimmed fruit trees in the vace manner and it you couldnt throw a basketball threw the tree without hitting a branch you didnt trim it enough.
