Hope they make the next corner! Best $35.00 spent in recent history, this Dewalt Tough Series 22oz. hammer is the best hammer I have used. Love the magnetic nail starter. I keep Old Iron Parked in my Utility room for props and some work occasionally. It adds a bit of Fairy Dust to things like a hammer post on the cinderblock and seems to help prevent cheese brain from forming.

I have my younger "little" brother's "little" hammer. Estwing ES-28. It is probably the most useless tool on my place. All iron, curved claw, cross hatched face, molded handle, 16 inches long. I can barely carry it around, much less hit a nail with it. It shows wear of use, ... but not by me. It stays hanging on a relics wall. I don't see any blood stains on it, but he mighta also used it as a personal protection weapon in South Africa.

I still have both of my go to hammers from the 80's when I was earning a living in the construction trades. 1 is a craftsman 16 oz. and the other is a 24 oz. framing hammer with the smooth face. Now a days my fav is my 8 pound Paslode frameing air nailer. Bangitty bang, done. Nowadays you gotta be careful about what you say about swingin a hammer around dontcha know. Nancy Pissloser might get her husband hurt over a lovers trift.
