Had another test done yesterday. A pulmonary function test. At least I was able to remain in a sitting position for that one. The technician was quite pleasant to look at, so I allowed her to try her best at killing me. She failed. I am still here.

I wouldn't mind going to the Dr if the techs were easy on the eyes...my Dr office doesn't give you much incentive in that regard!

Now that I think about it, they tell you how you should be doing things, what you should eat etc. They don't appear o follow their own advice ,if you get my drift. Lol

Results of the pulmonary function test show everything to be good, but I think they are missing something. Now they want me to visit with a cardioligist, so I made an appointment. Earliest I can see him is about 2 months out. I could be dead by then. Doggone it, this is stuff that only happens to OLD people and I didn't think I was quite there yet.

About 10 years ago, I had some really bad pain in my left arm, mostly. I finally went to my doctor and he says “Why the Hell did you come here? Go to the hospital!” He calmed down, because I wasn’t quite dead yet, and ordered an EKG and a blood test. I went and got them, and the lady says “ why don’t you just sit here and wait for the results?” I didn’t get results. I got a half dozen guys with a wheelchair escorting me to the emergency room. They did those tests over, the x rays and everything they could think of, and sent me home, disappointed that it was not a heart attack. My doctor sent me to physical therapy, and those idiots tuned it up real good. I got an appointment with a neurosurgeon about 6 weeks out……fortunately, by that time, the chiropractor had me fixed. The nerve doctor figured I needed 3 or 4 vertabres in my neck fused. I said not today. Then he wanted to give me a shot, again, not today. He looked really disappointed……
When I was hurting, I probably woulda jumped at his offer of a shot……but, he was busy for 6 weeks.
On a similar topic, my grand daughter is having ungodly pains in her innards. Local hospital was not helpful. She spent several days at the Mayo Clinic. They have some suspicions of what’s going on. They did give her some pain relief, but she is waiting for more tests, and she is losing a lot of weight. Why does it take so long to get diagnosed?
If you would, please mention Daniele in your prayers. Thank you!

I'm also dealing with a supposedly cancerous lesion on my temple. I was referred to a specialist. THEY called me wanting to schedule a consultation. I was wasn't quite ready for all of that, so we left it that I would call them when I was ready. The lesion is not going away so we made the phone call.
GUESS WHAT?? That cancer specialist has LOST my paperwork.
My lack of faith in doctors has been renewed.

All the computer records was supposed to streamline everything!!
Around here they still are not synced up & every place ya go you are still filling out papers.
The other issue is now about 2 months to even get into a quack.

My PA left the office and didn't tell me. She left in February and I got a text message from the office a few days ago informing me of such. They said they have a another provider taking new patients. I am interviewing possibilities now. Needless to say, it won't be a provider in that office.
