The Rand McNally road atlas does not always get it right either. Especially when driving an 18 wheeler. It is usually close to being right, but the motor carrier version is supposed to show the exact location of all the weigh stations and low clearance situations. Usually, but not always, it is right.

The last truckers atlas that I saw showed state route 350 as a truck route.. it might be, except for the hills on the gorge. In the back of the atlas it had some jibberish about that feature, but it was wrong and quite misleading. There are signs stating that is impassable, BUT NO PLACES TO TURN AROUND, so, drivers who don’t read ENGLISH get a ticket and a tow bill, or worse..
At one time, you would find a Swift truck down there every week. I don’t suppose it was the same one……
